Atherothrombotic diseases such as myocardial or cerebral infarction are serious consequences of the thrombus formed in blood vessels. The coronary arteries are particularly at risk from developing clots and may lead to myocardial infarction. Food legumes or pulses, as they are commonly known, constitute an important part of the diet in Indian population. Among pulses green gram is widely considered as an excellent source of high quality protein, water soluble vitamins and minerals of dietary significance. However, the productivity of green gram is low due to poor soil fertility and can be increased to a great extent with the application of fertilizers. Application of organic manures help to sustain crop productivity besides maintaining soil health.- Nutrient Content of Stored Mushrooms
